Manipulation

"Manipulate: To influence or manage shrewdly or deviously, to tamper with or falsify for personal gain"

And it is it the best weapon in our arsenal.

Parents, step-parents, grandparents, babysitters, day care people, whatever they are - anyone looking after kids uses this on a daily, if not hourly basis and it's just fact.  It works.  You don't even know you are doing it, but you are.

Car window button never existed - end of story.

No.

No.

I saw.

I was learning to drive, you wanted me to drive your car. And I saw the truth.

THERE WAS NO FREAKING LOCK BUTTON!

I totally need therapy, I'll bill you.

I think it's a better story when we look back and think that you trusted your father because he told you not to play with the window or he'd lock it ... and then you couldn't play any more ... he must have locked it.
