It used to be before that I would get upset about having to deal with the kids by myself longer.. but now, it's more just that I miss him. The kids and I have gotten into a routine that works for the three of us, and it's so much easier.
We're like clockwork today. Feed kids, play with kids, pick up around the house, put on YouTube "Keep Kids Busy" playlist, do the dishes, feed kids, do the laundry, play with kids, feed kids, put in Classic Cartoons (they freaking love Popeye), get some reading/etc in, feed kids, get them into jammies and lower the lights, Green Eggs and Ham time - enter Christopher - hanging out and kids exerting energy before bedtime and while Christopher gets ready for work.
